Upgraded Wijeya Cinema Batticaloa reopens
View(s):Wijaya Cinema – Batticaloa owned by Cinemas Ltd, pioneer film producers and theatre owners has reopened with the Tamil release film “Irumbu Thirai” (Iron Curtain) starring Vishal.
The theatre was reopened at 6.30pm on May 11 with the screening of the Tamil action thriller directed by P. S. Mithra.
This cinema has 300 reclining seats with air conditioning and is equipped with 2K Digital 7.1 surround sound system with a 3D projection system.
It also has ample car parking facility along with a backup generator and four daily screenings – 10.30/2.30/6.30/9.30 pm.
Cinemas Ltd is currently operating Lido, Capitol, Kingsley and Wembly theatres. This cinema is in the CEL circuit and managed by Mannons Cine Combines.
Rajinikanth’s box office Tamil film ‘Kaala’ is to be released from June 7. (SRF)
