Priyantha: End of a Chapter

Priyantha passed away last week and his funeral took place at the Mount Lavinia general cemetery.
He was the son of popular yester year singer C. T. Fernando.
Priyantha, who mostly sang his father’s popular songs, was a crowd puller at all the musical concerts here and abroad.
The song ‘Werale Muhudu Welle’ was one of his own popular hits sung by Priyantha apart from hundreds of CT songs.
He was 65 years at the time of his death.
