Students of Mullaithivu Maha Vidyalayam were given uniforms for use as student traffic wardens to prevent road accidents near school premises. Presided by Provincial Senior Police Superintendent T. Kanesanathan, 20 students were given uniforms. The designated students will engage in controlling traffic under the guidance of Traffic Police officials.

Meanwhile, 25 Grade 5 students who passed the recent Scholarship exam, were gifted with Savings Deposits worth Rs 1,000 each. The initiative was supported by the Gnanam Foundation. Kilinochchi Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Mahesh Senanayake, teachers, students and parents participated in the event.
