View(s):

The Consortium of Sri Lankan Academic Libraries (CONSAL) has established a centralised Document Delivery Service (DDS). The DDS is provided through the British Library Document Supply Service (BLDSS) with funding from the University Grants Commission (UGC), said the University of Sri Jayawardenapura.

“The objective is to fulfil the scholarly Literature needs of Sri Lankan academics,” it said. The DDS is coordinated by the Colombo University Library and caters to academics of the 15 State Universities functioning under the UGC. However, requests for open sources articles and articles available through CONSAL- sponsored or university-paid databases, will not be provided under the DDS. Requests could be made to <illusjp@sjp.ac.lk>
