Schools Under 19 team making their maiden appearance in the MCA annual open six-a-side tournament 2015 came out with flying colours in the preliminary round defeating the much fancied LB Finance ‘A’ and Hatton National Bank yesterday at the MCA Grounds.

This tournament will be continued in three venues, namely MCA, Thurstan and Wesley, today commencing at 9.00a.m.Confident looking Schools Six took on L.B. Finance in Group B surprised everyone at the grounds with a fine allround performance in defeating the financiers chasing 68 to achieve victory without a loss. In the second match in the same group again the young lads robbed the bankers with a seventeen run victory.
