The latest Korean drama ‘Moon Embracing Sun’ dubbed into Sinhala as ‘Hiru Sandu Adarei’ will be telecast on National Rupavahini at 6.30 pm on every weekday from Monday to Friday from May 26. Multi-awarded soap drama garnered awards at M.B.C. awards ceremony, 48th Baeksang Arts Awards, 46th Worldfest-Houston International Film and Video Festival and few other awards festival.‘Moon Embracing Sun’ was earlier telecast in Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Iran, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia and became immensely popular. The play also earned the second highest income for the MBC channel. It was based on a book written by Jung Eun-gwol under the same title and was directed by Kim Do-hoon.

Voiced by Lahiru Pasan, Nalin Priyadarshana, Sandya Rambukkanage, Anura Bandara Rajaguru, Lal Sarath Kumara, Isini Nisara, Achini Nisadeka, Usan Senarath, Kamal Gamage, Thanaka Tharaki, Subashi Nadeeka and Ajith Krishantha for the Sinhala version, P. Kularathne is the dubbing producer. Translator and lips sync dubbing script writer is Dinali Nanayakkara, theme song melody by veteran musician Somapala Rathnayake and music is conducted by Jayantha Rathnayaka. The theme song is sung by Rohan Shantha Bulegoda and Nelu Adikari. Dubbing direction editing and lyrics of the theme song are written by Athula Ransirilal.
