The Sinhala Literary Society of St. Peter’s College this week showcased its students’ talents at a show titled “Brava” where Pandith Amaradeva was the Guest of Honour.
The Rector, Rev Tony Martin said that St. Peters has always has been a hub for Sports, while this novel experience will encourage the Peterite Community to enhance its capabilities in Aesthetic Studies and Performing Arts.
Guest of Honour, Pandith Amaradeva received a standing ovation, and he also sang along with the Peterite vocalists. He said that St. Peter’s students had the flair for music, while there was still room for improvement.
The Chief Guest was former Archbishop of Colombo Rev Dr Oswald Gomis.
