The upkeep of the Viharamaha Devi Park which was disrupted for a couple of days after the election has returned to normal with workers of the Civil Defence Service back at their task. They are paid an allowance of Rs 600 a day for the work.
Visitors to the Park said soon after the election period the park was neglected for a few days, but now all was well. About 100 CDS members are deployed at the park.
