Devki Perera of Lyceum International School Nugegoda was adjudged the Best Female Athlete at the Piliyandala Zonal Colours Awards Ceremony 2014 held at the Piliyandala Central College.

Devki Perera

Devki is an athlete who had achieved numerous victories both locally and internationally in Wushu competitions.

In 2014 Devki won two age categories at the National Wushu Championship in addition to winning three gold medals at the National Schools Wushu Competition. She also has three first places under her belt at the Western Province Wushu Championship. In 2013 she won three gold medals at the National Championship.

In addition to Devki, her teammate Sanjuli Ekanayake, another promising Wushu athlete received colours representing Lyceum International School Nugegoda. In swimming Disnaka Ediriwickrama, Rukshan Alahakoon and Ashinsanie Weerasinghe won colours while Kasun Ilangaratne received colours for scouting.
