This cricket tournament organised by the Colombo District Ahadiyyah Schools Federation for the ahadiyyahs in Colombo District was worked-off at the Umagiliya Public Ground at Kolonnawa recently. In this well organised tournament was participated by fourteen schools were played maintaining the highest traditions of the game and in a friendly atmosphere.
At the conclusion of the tournament awards and certificated were distributed by distinguished officials of the CDASF. The championship Trophy awarded by CDASF President Al-Haj M.R.M. Zarook was received by the skipper of the winning team M.J.M. Arshad.
M. Amjath of Dehiwela Ahadiyyah School was adjudged the Best Batsman and Best Bowler of the tournament while M. Azmie of NMWA Sunday Ahadiyyah School won the Man of the Final award. -LR
