Over 800 students following the Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) course protested in front of the Central Bus Station, Galle last Wednesday (12).
Students from higher technological institutions in Labuduwa, Dehiwala, Tangalle and Kegalle also took part in the campaign registering their protest against the Government’s move to shorten the four year course to three years while requesting the Government to reinstate the recognition of the diploma as a degree.
