The Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter between St. Joseph’s and Nalanda played at Darley Road ended in a drab draw yesterday.

Nalanda resuming from their overnight score of 86 for 2 went on to make 208 with Kasun Sandaruwan making a top score of 62. He put on a 53 run partnership for the third wicket with Malinga Amarasinghe who made 28.

St Joseph’s in their turn facing 43 overs and just under two sessions ended the day making 94 for 4.
