Bishops-Visakha Water Polo clash
View(s):Bishop’s College and Visakha Vidyalaya will meet again for the eighth occasion at their annual Water Polo encounter which will commence at 2.30pm at the Police Pool Complex in Narahenpita tomorrow.
The two leading girls’ schools will battle in two age categories with the inclusion of a Under-19 encounter from this year, which will be for the Jeremias Dias Challenge Trophy. The Under-15 game will be played for the Bishop Chapman’s Challenge Trophy.
This year the encounter will be hosted by Bishop’s College and their Under-19 team will be captained by Aneesha Fowzie while Visakha Vidyalaya will be captained by Aneka Abeywickrema. The encounter began in 2007 as a match between the Under-15 teams.
