It was an exciting scene of incredible footwork, soap foam, mud and cheer as ANC Education held the first ever Soap Football festival for its students. The event, which started with much anticipation on the 26th September, was concluded successfully with the award of trophies to winning team, Sharks and the runners-up, K-Clan. The best player of the tournament was Dinesh Palitharathna.

CR and FC was a scene of slippery soap as more than 250 students of ANC battled their way through to the finals. Students, parents and staff alike were seen immensely enjoying the novelty the game brought whilst the rainy weather adding on to the excitement.

ANC education, the pioneer tertiary education institute in Sri Lanka conducts events on a regular basis focusing on the engagement of students. Such events are a welcome relief for students who are vigorously reading for their respective degrees at ANC.
