Salinda Ushan scores 138 for Isipathana at Sooriyawewa
A decision could not be reached in the under 19 division one cricket encounter between St. Servatius College Matara and Isipathana College Colombo.only 98 overs of play was possible in the match which was played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium at Sooriyawewa due to afternoon deluges which disrupted play on both days.
Isipathana batting first contnued from the first days score of 186/2 and declared their innings at 279/8. Left hand batsman Salinda Ushan scored 138 runs off 206 balls with 15 boundaries and a six and shared a second wicket partnership of 145 runs with Sanjula Abeywickrema 57. Skipper Chameera Dissanayaike waa unbeaten on 32. Ashen Deemantha captured four wickets.
The Servatians were 74/1 when heavy rain put an end to further play at 1.40 pm. Lochana Mohotti was unbeaten on 29 while Shenal Deelaka wa the successful bowler.
