‘Ruwasha’ :New hit from Sasindu

Up coming young singer Sasindu Jay, released his third track ‘Ruwasha’ last week. The video ‘Ruwasha’ was an instant hit, when it was released on web last Tuesday and Sasindu enjoyed more than thousand hit for the past four days.
‘Ruwasha’ was penned by Sasindu and all the music arrangements was done by him. ‘Popualr audio production company ‘Time and Space’ did the audio production, while video was done by Lakkitha Thebuwana @ LUT Animations (Pvt) Ltd. Mixing and Mastering was handled by Prasanna Dissanayake and the video production was directed by Sasindu himself along with Jayathu Jayawardena. Guitar music was provided by Navod Amarasuriya.
Assistant Director / Camera was Ujitha Niros/Digayu Vithaanawasam, while make up was handled by Ama Liyanage / Harshana Senanayake
Sasindu Didulanka Jayewardene popularly known as Sasindu Jay was born on 12th June 1993 in Colombo. He began his music career under the guidance of Manuja Kumari and K.M Rathnapala during his school life and his uncle Milton Pereis who was in the Fortune band too has assisted him. He became a star on 29th January 2012 in the Talent Star Singing Competition organized by the Lions Club held at Waters Edge.
He released his first music video ‘Obatamai Adare’ in 2012 with his friend Himanga Rajapakshe and the song was a creation by Lut Animation Studio and Ditagu Labs. The song was Directed By Lakkitha Thebuwana and Digayu Vithanawasam and the Audio production was by Penguin Studios.
His second music video ‘Sitha Uthura Yana Senehasa’ in 2013 was launched on Valentine’s Day, which was Created by ‘3D Mind Life’ and Directed by Indika Priyantha. Sasindu is also a lyrist who has written many songs along with the melodies.
