Colombo Colts downed Old Yasodara by four goals to nil in their Women’s President’s Shield Inter Club hockey fixture at the Astro turf recently. At half time Colts led by 2-0.

In the fifth minute of play, Shiroma Athurupana opened the score for Colts and in the 25th minute, Hansani Rajapakse made it 2-0 for Colts when half time was taken.

After the change of ends, Maneesha Welaratne added the third in the 42nd minute and four minutes later, Risni Perera sounded the boards to give Colts a 4-0 win.

In another fixture played earlier, Young Ladies Hockey Club trounced Ananda Balika 10-0 after leading 4-0 at half time. – BM
