Anatoly Karpov Chess Club of the Russian Centre in Colombo awarded 20 chess sets and chess books to the Parliamentary Sports Club recently.

Nazarkin – Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Buddhapriya Ramanayake – Chief Executive Officer of the Russian Centre, Mrs. Suneetha Wijesuriya – President of the Anatoly Karpov Chess Club of the Russian Centre, Bandula Withanage Coordinator of the Anatoly Karpov Chess Club and Mrs. K.A. Rohanadeera – Asst. Secretary General of the Parliament were also participated in the event.

Anatoly Karpov Chess Club of the Russian Centre agreed to conduct a chess coaching camp for the members of the Parliamentary Sports Club in the near future.
