This is the fourth time The Willows Cricket Club Youth team recently toured Sri Lanka for the fourth time where they played seven games during their 12-day stay, winning five and losing only to Gurukula Vidyalaya and St. Servatius College.

The team comprised Daniel Stanley, Jeremy Benton (Christ Church Boys High School), Harry Chamberlain (Christ’s College), Josh Clarkson (Nelson College), Henry Shipley and Maththew Parker (St. Andrew’s College), Rhys Bayly, Josh Finnie (Otago Boys’ High School), Maththew Stretch (Marlborough Boys High School), Hayden Day (Hillmorton High School), Jack Boyle (St Bede’s College), Felix Page (Kings High School), Talor Scott (Shirley Boys High School)

Former New Zealand test cap Paul McEwan was the manager while Mike Johnston cricket, and rugby coach of St. Andrew’s College was head coach and assisted by Alexander Reese. Shereen Hussain a Sri Lankan, who is a member of the Willows Cricket Club, accompanied the team.
