Royal International School Kurunegala performed exceptionally to bag two netball titles at the Inter-International Schools Netball

Under-17 champs, Royal International School Kurunegala – Aruni, Sadeeka, Divyanjali, Kasuni, Jinali, Keshani, Kuloshika and Shanika.

Championship, conducted by the Association of International Schools in Sri Lanka together with Royal English School Matale, which was worked off at the Bernard Aluvihare Stadium in Matale. Royal International School Kurunegala won the Under-17 and Under-19 netball titles while Royal English School Matale annexed the Under-15 title.

Under-19 champions, Royal International School Kurunegala – Nipuni, Yukthi, Praveena, Mirandi, Madara, Minsa, Erandi and Chathuri.

Royal International School Kurunegala beat Negombo South International School to win the championship. Royal International Kurunegala won the final by 15-0. Royal English School Matale won third place. Madara Illangaratne of Royal International Kurunegala was adjudged the Best Player of this age category while her teammate, Yukthi Praveena, was adjudged the Best Shooter.
Royal International Kurunegala beat Royal English School Matale to annex the Under-17 championship of the competition. The winners recorded a thrilling 5-4 win in the final. The third place went to Negombo South International School. Sadeeka of Royal International Kurunegala was adjudged the Best Shooter.

In the Under-15 category Royal English School Matale beat Westwood International Kandy to emerge champions. The winners, Royal English School won the championship by recording a 7-5 win against Westwood in the final. Royal International Kurunegala secured third place. LDC
