The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka is organizing a presentation on trade between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on Wednesday at the chamber auditorium in Colombo.

The guest speakers are M. Sufiur Rahman, Bangladesh High Commissioner in Sri Lanka assisted by F.M. Borhan-Uddin, Counsellor. They will speak on the current business trend, trade potential, opportunities for export, import, investment/ and other services available for Sri Lankans in Bangladesh. Sri Lanka’s exports to Bangladesh have increased by around 150 per cent between 2006 and2011.
Similarly, the value of imports from Bangladesh has also increased by 100 per cent in 201 against 2010, according to the chamber.
