The Android application can be downloaded from Google Play and it gives an easy, one-tap access to consumers, shopping list, directly fron the Start Screen. “This Smart Shopping application raises the bar by intergrating Consumers & Brands for the first time on the Android platform in Sri Lanka with live title integration from the latest version of an Android Phone.
“The products on offer are tailor made to suit consumer lifestyle with many banded offers, the release said. “Shoppers can also look forward to super deals and special prices. Customers have to first register with redbanana.lk and the application will be the best companion for shoppers who plan their purchasing in advance.” It added that shoppers can expect free delivery for all their purchases and payments can be made via Cash or Credit Card at the time of delivery. Customers with other Mobile Operating Systems can make use of the mobile version of the website. Currently the delivery areas are limited as the company is focused on offering a premium services to the customers, according to the release. Redbanana.lk is an online supermarket where consumers can purchase all their weekly grocery requirements and all household items at the marked retail price with no hidden charges. “Unlike conventional shopping where consumers have to stand in long queues, get stuck in traffic and struggle with parking, at redbanana.lk consumers can shop from the comfort of their home or office,” the release said.
