London South Bank University is an international university based in London, UK with many ties to other institutes in Greece, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and now Sri Lanka.

Mr Michael Lin, Managing Director said “It is a pleasure to partner a new university who has a common mission – to find successful niche areas in which we can grow together. London South Bank University is that partner for us.”

Professor Geoff Elliott, Pro Dean Faculty of Business, London South Bank University said “It is the intention of London South Bank University to partner institutes around the world that will contribute to our international portfolio. We are happy to be in Sri Lanka and to work with Auston to make this a regional education center for local and international students.”

Starting soon will be degrees in Business Management, Business Information Technology and a Masters Programme in International Banking and Finance.

The Business Management also allows students to opt for specialization routes between Business Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing Management. The Business Information Technology programme is designed to prepare graduates for the next wave of IT development that will undoubtedly be part of the Sri Lanka IT industry.

This partnership also brings, for the first time, to Sri Lanka an MSc in International Banking and Finance. This programme will be delivered by faculty from the University directly and supported by local academics and tutors from the industry to add the local relevance. Local faculty includes professors and doctorates from Open University, Sri Jayawardenapura University and Colombo University among others.

Students on all the programmes will be given access to all the university resources, just like students at the London campus.

Interested candidates for the above programmes should contact Ranjith at 0 718 734 222 or visit their campus at 534 Galle Road or email enquiries@auston.edu.lk for more details.
