3M Sri Lanka recently concluded its “8th Volition Certified Installer Training Workshop”, which is an ongoing certification programme for local IT professionals for the company’s “Volition” range of enterprise network solution. Further, this event featured 100 participants from a number of government and private sector entities, including the Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Telecom, Ceylon Electricity Board, Metropolitan Computers, Sierra and Softlogic, amongst others.

According to a media statement by the company; “Volition enterprise network solutions are tailored for streamlined installation and reduced labour and component costs. 3M structured cabling infrastructures are utilised wherever a local area network is required, including offices, hospitals, military sites, schools and universities, and can support standard data and telephony as well as applications requiring higher bandwidths, such as data storage, video streaming and security.
