HNB Chair Dr. Ranee Jayamaha bestowed with top Scottish doctorate

Dr. Ranee Jayamaha
University (DUniv) at its graduation ceremony held last month. The University of Stirling has recognized Dr. Jayamaha’s distinguished career as one of the University’s first Master’s Graduates in Economics and as a person of great distinction in the fields of learning the arts and public affairs.
The DUniv Award has been offered in recognition of her outstanding contribution to ‘central banking, her dedication to banking services in the Northern and Eastern provinces and more recently, to commercial banking in Sri Lanka’.
Dr Jayamaha is internationally recognized through her advisory services at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London and her involvement in BIS publications and the G8 Advisory Group.
