FlySmiLes members can hop onboard SriLankan Airlines partner Mihin Lanka
View(s):FlySmiLes, the frequent Flyer programme of SriLankan Airlines unveiled a new partnership agreement with Mihin Lanka recently.
Partnership with Mihin will add more excitement and more destinations into the programme, a media release issued by SriLankan Airlines said. FlySmiLes Members can now earn miles on all Mihin Lanka flights, it stated adding that miles can be accrued on all revenue tickets issued on Mihin’s scheduled flights. Mihin Lanka is the national budget airline operating from Colombo and offers scheduled services to Trichy, Gaya , Varanasi, Dubai , Sharjah ,Dhaka , Jakarta and Madurai. The release also said that it was the only budget airline that serves complimentary refreshments.
FlySmiLes members can now fly and earn miles to almost 123 destinations served by SriLankan and its partner airlines.
Mohamed Fazeel, Head of Commercial (Operations) of SriLankan Airlines said, “we are delighted in partnering with our sister company Mihin Lanka which brings in more exciting new destinations where FlySmiLes members can fly and accrue miles”.
Mihin Lanka Head of Commercial Rohana Perera said in a statement that the airline now flies to eight destinations in the world. “With our destination profile spreading out to a wider audience we are glad to announce our partnership with SriLankan Airlines to offer their FlySmiLes Frequent Flyer members the opportunity to accumulate miles when they fly Mihin Lanka as well,” he said.
