Gateway’s kids programme that enables Sri Lankan children to become confident IT users from an early age, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The quindecennial event will be marked by a grand and colourful Kite Festival, themed 15 years of flying colours, at the Galle Face Green, on the 29th of September from 2.00 pm onwards.

The festival will include exciting competitions such as The most elegant kite, The best sky scraper, The longest kite, The most innovative kite, The youngest kite flyer , The best kite to incorporate company Logo and The best colourful costume  – Fancy dress parade. The competitions are open to various age categories making sure that the whole family can enjoy the event. Apart from the competitions, participants can simply enjoy flying their kites during the festival.

Gateway Kids School of Computing has emerged to be a leader in education providing high quality computer training to thousands of students in Sri Lanka and abroad.During the short span of a decade and a half, Gateway Group has established 4 International Schools, a Graduate School, a chain of 30 IT training centres in all districts of the country, 28 English Language learning centres, 8 centres of Speech and Drama, a software consultancy firm and many other educational entities in Sri Lanka.
