The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Sri Lanka Division recently held its bi-annual Convocation for the students who graduated in March and May 2012. The Convocation celebrated the success of 269 students completing all examinations of the Institute in Sri Lanka.

World prize winner Seyeda Mowhiba Hibshy Mowlana receiving the award from Chief Guest Koshy Mathai, IMF Resident Representative in Sri Lanka. She has obtained 96 marks for Financial Management.

The May 2012 exam results which marks the fifth diet of examinations under the 2010 syllabus has seen excellent student performances from around the world. This highlights CIMA’s ethic, that dedication and study can produce exemplary results.

CIMA is pleased to announce that Sri Lanka has secured a world prize at the CIMA examinations held in May 2012. Seyeda Mowhiba Hibshy Mowlana won the world prize for Financial Management by obtaining 96 marks.

It is also worth noting that several Sri Lankan students were ranked among the first ten in the world for their performance at the May 2012 exam diet. The outstanding performances of Sri Lankan students are a testimony of the dedication and the competence of the CIMA tutors in Sri Lanka.
