Bangladesh secured a five wicket with ten balls to spare against Zimbabwe in their warm up game played at the Colts ground yesterday. Zimbabwe in fact crashed to their second successive defeat having earlier lost to Ireland.Zimbabwe who were invited to take first lease of the wicket got off to a sedate start with the openers Hamilton Masakadza and Vusi Sibanda adding 22 runs.

Even though their innings contained of useful partnerships it was insufficient as the runs came slow and managed to post a score of only 134.
Bangladesh seemed to be in hurry of finishing off the game early with Mohammad Ashraful who top scored with 38 and Shakib Al Hasan (28) adding 52 runs in even time before being separated.

They lost three quick wickets as they slid from 63 for 2 to 85 for 5 before an unbroken 50 runs stand for the sixth wicket between Ziaur Rahman and Mohammad Mahmudullah saw them reaching the target. Zimbabwe 134 for 6 in 20 overs (Vusi Sibanda 40, Brendan Taylor 21, Craig Ervine 19, Malcolm Waller 18: Abdur Razzak 2 for 21)
