Three powerful men and a ‘broken’ bank (pun intended)!

View(s):

Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Central Bank Governor Ajit Nivard Cabraal and Transport Secretary and businessman Dhammika Perera in conversation as they walk under the main name-board of the Central Bank (CB). The event was the beginning of construction of a new multi storied car park at the Bank premises. While the CB plays a crucial role as the country's banking regulator, it may also need to brush up its housekeeping - note the letter 'B' falling off on the sign. Pic by Amila Praboda.
