View(s):The English Writers’ Cooperative of Sri Lanka(EWC) will hold its annual seminar on poetry and short story writing on Saturday, October 20 at the auditorium of the Federation of University Women at 96/25, Kitulwatte Road, Colombo 8 from 8.30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The sessions will consist of lecture/discussions on poetry and the short story by University academics, brief presentations on the basics of publishing creative writing and the importance of craft in a short story, followed by an interactive session to answer participants’ queries
Those interested in attending should email vijita@sltnet.lk or post or hand over their applications to Vijita Fernando at 16, Welikadawatte Road, Rajagiriya. The seminar fee is Rs.1000 per participant. This could be paid on registration at 8.30 on the morning of the seminar. The last date for applications is October 10, 2012.
