Rainbow pages make available business and useful information at fingertips

Mobile phone users in Sri Lanka are now able to make rational choices and decisions in today's competitive business environment as the quick access for vital information in Rainbow pages is readily available, via WAP. WAP is a browser developed to access information through mobiles which is similar to surfing the Internet through computers.

Ltd was officially launched by President Mahinda Rajapaksa last year. This new feature would help users to save time, as information such as the business' address and phone number will be displayed in a few seconds on their mobile. This innovation introduced by the SLT Group will seamlessly merge with other telecom service providers to provide mobile directory information.

National Directory publisher -SLT Publications (Pvt.) Ltd, widely known as Rainbow Pages, has revolutionized business and useful information search by giving access to Rainbow pages telephone directory information via the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) for mobile phone users with the vision of sharing this valuable source of information particularly with telephone users including mobile phone users and any interested parties who seek information nationally or internationally. This service is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka and is available to users having WAP enabled mobile phones.

Sharing his thoughts on this new initiative Mr. Malraj Balapitiya, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SLT Publications (Pvt.) Ltd said, "Mobile is an exciting space to be in.
