‘Survivorman’ in Lanka

Les Stroud of ‘Survivorman’ fame and more importantly a lover of nature who encourages through his actions the need to care and conserve while challenging and enjoying the many demands of surviving in the wilderness, is currently in Sri Lanka shooting for a new TV series for the Discovery Channel titled Vanishing Worlds.

The locations to be featured are being filmed in Hikkaduwa, Sigiriya, Galle, Anuradhapura and Mihintale.
In this his latest venture - Vanishing Worlds, Les Stroud takes a look at the various traditions and cultures which have stood the test time and how preserving these have helped in conservation.
