Navitas, the global leader in education and Aspirations Education, the premier career guidance and placement services centre are proud to present an exhilarating experience with former Australian cricket captain, Steve Waugh, Brand Ambassador for the Navitas Group.

The Season 1 and 2 of Pathbreakers, the successful education-based tv reality show was brought to you by Aspirations Education in 2007 and 2008. The main sponsor for the 2008 programme was the Navitas Group, which is represented in Sri Lanka by the well known and prestigious Higher Educational Institution ACBT.

This event is a follow up event of "Pathbreakers Season 2 - The Aspirations Conquest", telecast on ETV and Derana from September to December 2008. Now they are ready to bring another extravagant experience for the youth of Sri Lanka by organizing an exhilarating evening with Steve Waugh who will address the gathering on "What it takes to become a pathbreaker". It will be an inspirational speech for all those future leaders out there, touching on his experience playing cricket for Australia and his social service activities such as the formation of an orphanage in Calcutta.

The highlight of this evening would be the first ever inter school cricket quiz. The participants will be school goers above 15 years of age, representing their respective school teams. The competition will be held in 3 rounds and Steve Waugh himself will shoot rapid fire questions at the contestants in the final rounds. This indeed will become a novel experience for the contestants as they have to show case their knowledge on cricket in front of a cricketing legend and a cricket loving audience. Steve would award the winning quiz team the prize along with his autobiography signed by him on behalf of Navitas. The certificates of the 10 finalists of the recently concluded Pathbreakers Season II - Aspirations Conquest will also be presented by Steve at the event.

This event will also see the inauguration of Aspirations Youth Council whose members will be called 'Pathbreakers,' and would continue to carry out innovative, social entrepreneurial projects as done by Aspirations Education in the past.

So look forward to this evening with pathbreaker Steve Waugh, which will be held on 25th February from 5.30pm - 9.00pm at the Kings Court Trans Asia Hotel .
