AMW moves out of Colombo share market
Associated Motorways Ltd (AMW), now fully controlled by a Dubai-based group, said on Thursday the Colombo Stock Exchange has granted it approval to delist the shares of AMW from the CSE.

Miramar not for sale
Miramar Beach Hotels Ltd has filed a writ application in the Court of Appeal seeking to quash the decision taken by the Board of Directors of Peoples Bank to sell the company property under a board resolution and prevent the Peoples Bank from proceeding further on the said resolution.

DFCC brokers get new name
DFCC Stockbrokers (Pvt) Ltd will henceforth be known as Acuity Stockbrokers (Pvt ) Ltd to reflect the brand name of the parent company, Acuity Partners (Pvt) Ltd, which is a joint venture owned by DFCC Bank and Hatton National Bank, according to a notice filed before the Colombo Stock Exchange.
