A delegation from AACSB International visited the University of Kelaniya Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies (FCMS) as part of the faculty’s ongoing accreditation journey, reinforcing its commitment to achieving global standards in business education, the university said.

Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, founded in 1916, is the premier global non-profit accrediting body for business schools.

The delegation engaged in high-level discussions with Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva. This meeting reaffirmed the university’s strong institutional support for the accreditation process, the university added.

“The visit provided a platform for evaluating progress, specifically regarding the Initial Self-Evaluation Report (iSER). The day concluded with an evening tea session, fostering direct interaction between the delegates and faculty members, demonstrating the faculty’s collective dedication to internationalization and excellence,” the university said.
