Ven Mahindabhidhana Thero passes away

The Most Venerable Handupelpola Sri Mahindabhidhana Nayaka Maha Thero, Chief Incumbent (Panchamaha Viharadhiavara) of Millaewa Kidelpitiya Purana Gallen Viharaya, Millaewa Sri Mahindaramaya, Bulathsinhala Athura Sri Buddhaghosharamaya, and Horana Kudauduwa Sri Bodhi Malu Viharaya passed away while in London this week.
The venerable thero was the Chief Sangha Nayaka of Raigam Korale and Pas Yodun Rata, including Panadura Totamuna, and a resident monk of the Kingsbury Sri Saddhatissa Buddhist Centre, London. He was also an external lecturer at the University of Colombo.
