Peradeniya Alumni Colombo Chapter Commemorates its late members

The Social & Cultural Committee of the Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya, Colombo Chapter chaired by Kumudini Kulatunga together with the members offered lunch, medicine, milk powder, sanitary items, pillows, bedsheets etc to the 45 residents of the Paramitha Elders Home, Wanawasala Road, Kelaniya on October 23 to bestow merits on their late members and families.
Other necessities were offered to Venerable Balapitiye Gnanasiri Thero addressing a range of needs such as paints for the maintenance of the home.
Venerable Kahawatte Dammapala Thero delivered the Darmadeshana and blessed the current members, their families and donors who supported the event for good health and longevity, president of the association Palitha Siyambalapitiya said.
