Vidyalankara conference hall work to continue
View(s):The cabinet has approved continuing the remaining development work at the Kelaniya Vidyalankara International Buddhist Conference Hall.
Approval was granted at a cabinet meeting held on 23-06-2025 to allocate Rs 137.11 million for 2025 to restore the electrical system of the building. The restoration of the electrical system is currently being completed by the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau.
A proposal was presented to complete all other essential components of the building, including the fire protection system, air conditioning system, construction of a security fence, etc, within this year, with the remaining money.
