The De Lanerolles back at the Wendt with two distinct concerts

This October, Sri Lanka’s favourite vocal duo, the De Lanerolle Brothers, are set to deliver two back to back but very different concerts at the Lionel Wendt Theatre — each with its own distinct flavour yet united by their trademark artistry and innovation.
On Thursday, October 2, they unveil Gangadhara, a vibrant celebration of Sri Lankan song with the DLB Squared Band, weaving sitar, tabla and contemporary instrumentation into a rich soundscape. The visual presentation will reflect this, with bespoke outfits created by LOVI and Sonali Dharmawardena.
The next evening, Friday,October 3, they will present Grace Notes — a soul-stirring performance featuring Soundarie David Rodrigo, Neranjan De Silva, and the Soul Sounds Choir & Academy. This show with a different, more classical-gospel ambience, offers audiences an uplifting journey of music and hope.
