At the 86th convocation of the University of Peradeniya, Viduni Keerthisinghe of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science was awarded 9 gold medals which were presented by Chancellor professor emeritus M A K L Dissanayake.
She was awarded the V A Gunawardene Gold Medal, Ajantha Horadagoda Memorial Gold Medal, H B S Ariyarathna Gold Medal, Gold Medal for Excellence in Veterinary Pathology, Sivalingam Mahalingam Gold Medal, S T Fernando Memorial Gold Medal, Arunachalam Chinniah Gold Medal, and the Peradeniya University Gold Medal.
She is a past pupil of Kandy Girls’ High School and had her primary schooling at the Dippitiya Rajagiri School at Mawanella.
