Applications open for ICT Championship 2025
View(s):The Education Ministry has called applicants for the National Level ICT Championship Competition 2025 to register before July 31.
The applicants are requested to register using only the online form.
The applicants of the National level school software competition (NSCC), which comes under the national level ICT championship programme, should have basic knowledge of C or C++or Java or C#.
If more than one student from the same school is participating, each student must submit an individual application form. Combining the information of multiple students in a single form is not permitted.
Each student is required to complete a separate registration when applying online.
Once the registration is completed, and the principal has certified it, a scanned copy should be uploaded to the appropriate section of the online application.
The application is available on the ministry website.
The closing date for the Young Computer Scientist competition project submission is before August 15.
Young Computer Scientist contestants can apply via the online application on the ministry website.
The details of project submissions would be emailed to registered applicants, and the applicants are advised to regularly review their email for updates.
School teachers who are applying for Creative Teacher Competition and have filled the registration and obtained the principal’s certification, should upload a scanned copy to the appropriate section.
The project submission should be forwarded via a CD containing the project, along with the application certified by the principal, to the Director of Education, Information and Communication Technology Branch, 4th Floor, Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, Isurupaya, Battaramulla.
Trainee teachers interested in taking part in the Creative Teacher Competition must upload the scanned copy of the relevant section of the online application after it is duly filled, registration of the online application, and certification from the President of the College of Education.
Submission of project should be done by forwarding the CD that included the project, along with the application certified by the President of the College of Education, to the Director of Education, Information and Communication Technology Branch, 4th Floor, Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, Isurupaya, Battaramulla.
