SLIC Life nominated among Asia’s best at key awards
View(s):Sri Lanka Insurance Life (SLIC Life) has become a finalist in three key categories at the upcoming 10th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards 2025. This recognition places SLIC Life among the very best in the Asia-Pacific region and marks a significant milestone for Sri Lanka on the international insurance stage, the company said in a media release.
SLIC Life has been shortlisted under the categories of Insurance Company of the Year, Executive Champion of the Year, and Financial Adviser of the Year. The company stands alongside industry giants such as AIA Singapore, AIA Philippines, Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL, and Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd. Sri Lanka Insurance Life is the only Sri Lankan Life Insurance company to be nominated in these categories this year.
The awards ceremony, which will take place on August 19 at ParkRoyal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore, celebrates the finest talent and institutions in life insurance across the Asia-Pacific. A total of 50 finalists from 47 companies across 13 markets have made it to the final round of judging, following a rigorous selection process.
In the Executive Champion of the Year category, Ms. Namalee A. Silva has been recognised for her exceptional leadership and transformative contributions to Sri Lanka Insurance Life and the Life Insurance industry of Sri Lanka. In the Financial Adviser of the Year category, Ms. A L Thilini Madushika Liyanage, representing the Bancassurance channel, has been honoured as one of the most outstanding financial advisers.
