Bentota hoteliers association selects new team
The annual election of the Beruwala-Bentota Tourist Hotel Association for the term 2025–2026 was held at the taj Bentota Tourist Hotel where its members approved the reappointment of the existing board of officers.
The re-elected board includes Indaka de Silva of Barbarian Reef as President, Rohan Gamage of Thala Bentota and Sibi Mathew of Taj Bentota as Vice Presidents, Dr. Harsha Jayasinghe of Pandanus Beach Resort as Secretary, and Farrell Blom of Jetwin Saman Vilas as Associate Treasurer. Their collective experience and leadership have been instrumental in fostering cooperation and development within the local hospitality sector, the association said in a media release.
Also present at the event were Lankesha Ponnamperuma of Cinnamon Bay Beruwala, Priyan Wijeratne of Heritance Ahungalla, Wim Fagel of N.H., Niroshan Jayakody of Heritance Ayurveda Mahagedara, Manjula Dissanayake of Earl’s Reef, Ranil Delgoda of Habitat Kosgoda, Malik Jayasinghe of Club Bentota, Kavishka Fernando of The Surf Bentota, and Dilan Bandara of The Palms.
