Veterans’ Volleyball Nationals next weekend
The Sri Lanka Veterans’ Volleyball Association (SLVVA) will conduct the Veterans’ Nationals 2022 on November 19 and 20 in Radawana, where a large number of former national spikers are expected to take part.
The two-day tournament will have events for men and women, where the men’s segment will include age categories of Over-40, Over-50 and Over-60. The women’s age category will be based as Over-35 and winners of all age categories will receive a champion’s trophy in addition to cash awards.
Matches will be officiated by referees and judges affiliated to the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation. After the tournament, SLVVA expects to form a national veterans’ volleyball team with intentions of representing Sri Lanka at regional and international tournaments.
