Lyceum International School, Wattala was declared joint champions alongside Maris Stella College, Negombo, in the Sri Lanka Schools Under-15 Division III Cricket Tournament after the final match, played at Thurstan ground in Colombo, ended in a draw.

Maris Stella won the toss and elected to field, as Lyceum Wattala poste 178 runs in 53.1 overs. In reply Maris Stella scored 94 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 44.2 overs.

Lyceum Wattala players, Yuthmika Punchihewa scored 51 runs and Thevindu Vidusha scored 25 runs. Thevindu Vidusha took three wickets in conceding nine runs while Vihan Sadeesha claimed two wickets for eight runs.

For Maris Stella, Shenesh Panchama took three wickets for 33 runs, Ravindu Arunod claimed two wickets for 17 runs and Shenal Nimantha also grabbed two wickets for 43 runs. The match concluded as a draw, declaring both the teams as joint champions of the tournament.

Lyceum Wattala was coached by Sanjeewa Mendis and Viraj Weerasekara with Minon Dilshan as the master-in-charge. The team members of Lyceum Wattala, under the captaincy of Mihila Jayaweera, included Danidu Nawarathne, Randir Dewapriya, Sadeesha Gimhan, Adheesha Attanayake, Dinev Punchihewa, Vindiya Abesinghe, Mohamed Shuhaib, Vidusha de Zoysa, Sahiru Roshen, Trevan Kulathunga, Gagan Perera, Jeshwara Vishwanathan, Mandara Hewapathirana, Vihan Silva, Sasiru Senarathne, Vikashitha Jayasiri and Vishara Randunu.
