‘Kin Wild & Young Eye on Nature 2018’- an art and photography exhibition presented by the Young Zoologists’ Association of Sri Lanka, will have its official opening on September 21 at 3.30 p.m. at J. D. A. Perera Gallery, Colombo 7, and be open to the public on September 22 and 23. Entrance is free.

The exhibition will highlight over 200 paintings and photographs showcasing the talents of members of the Young Zoologists’ Association, popularly known as YZA. This organisation of young individuals keen on conservation through education, strictly adheres to the motto ‘Protect Nature’.

The majority of YZA members are students and undergraduates, young professionals and nature lovers under the age group of 35.

Located at the National Zoological Gardens, Dehiwala, YZA is entirely run by volunteers, with educational programmes,field visits, workshops, exhibitions and seminars all related to conservation.
