Mangala Madanayaka
Celebrating 25 years of art with his ballpoint pens, artist Mangala Madanayaka will hold his next exhibition on September 21 and 22 at the Galle Sports Stadium. This will be his 26th show.
Recalling that when he started out, there were only four colours available to him, he notes that today with the greater variety of pens available, schoolchildren too are drawn to this form of art. He has used nearly 10,000 pens for his drawings alone, he says.
