The newly released book Manige Theeruwa 3 brings within one volume all the editions of the popular Sinhala newspaper column Manige Theeruwa that appeared from 2002 to 2018.

The column, by Sundara Nihathamani de Mel, which has been running for almost 30 years, was the first Sinhala column to incorporate live characters into the narrative. In the ‘90s Manige Theeruwa introduced the catchphrase ‘the Sinhalese can only remember anything for two weeks’- as something purportedly said by Velupillai Prabhakaran.

The book will be available at the Colombo International Book Fair from September 21 to 30 ,  and at all leading bookstores. Inquiries can be made on 0718427090.
