Mubeen, Pushpakumara, Dinuruwan unbeaten

Defending champion M.M. Mubeen of Army, Prasanna Pushpakumara of ICSC and S.S. Dinuruwan of Army maintained their unbeaten records when the trio accomplished their second round of wins in the ongoing 6 Red Ball Snooker National Championship played at the Automobile Association Club and The Cue Club billiards table.
Mubeen outclassed M. Rimaz of Sea Endless with another easy 2-0 win of the three frame encounter while Pushpakumara coasted to a comfortable win over M.G. Buddika of CEB by the same margin while Dinuruwan had to work hard for his win.
Former national snooker champion Susantha Boteju representing Sea Endless began his campaign on a winning note while another contender for the title S.H.M. Aslam of MSC too got off to a winning start.
The other cueists to win their matches were K.A.C. Madushan (Air Force), Ajith Kumara (The Cue), K.H.K. Sachintha (SLPA), Namindu Fernando (Army), Anil Rohana (AAC), M.R.M. Reezan (Sea Endless), M.I. Farook (MICH) and T.D. Maduranga (Army).
